This Guide is one of the products of the European projectMultiplying Educational Capacities to Combat Sexual Violence Against Children (known by its acronym EDUCAP), awarded in 2021 and in which the University of Valencia, the University of Barcelona, the organization Save the Children and the Carlos III University of Madrid, with the support of various public entities of the Generalitat Valenciana, particularly with the support of the General Directorate for Educational Inclusion of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports and the Office for Victims of Crime of the Ministry of Justice, Interior and Public Administration. The objective of this Guide is to provide education professionals, especially Early Childhood Education and Primary Education teachers, theoretical-practical resources and tools for the prevention, detection, action and support in cases of child sexual abuse. The program has been designed in order to be the base material for a teacher training program following the training of trainers methodology.
